Coffee is the top three drinks in the world. Green coffee is a perennial evergreen shrub or small tree of Rubiaceae. It is a horticultural perennial cash crop, mainly distributed in Latin every week, Central and West Asia, Middle East and South Asia and other countries. In the past 15 years, with the improvement of Chinese people's living standards and the continuous growth of awareness of coffee culture, China's coffee industry has shown an overall upward trend.

At present, the main coffee cultivation areas in China are distributed in Yunnan, Hainan, Fujian and other places. The largest coffee production base is in Yunnan Province, with planting area and output accounting for 96% and 98.5% of the national coffee planting area, respectively. The main variety in Yunnan is small-grain coffee, which enjoys a high reputation in the world. More than half of the annual output is exported to Western Europe, Japan, the United States and other developed countries, and the annual export earnings reach more than 40 million US dollars.

In addition to Yunnan, Hainan Province is also one of the main coffee growing areas in China. Hainan has the advantages of unique environmental resources suitable for cultivated coffee trees, with sufficient light, rich heat, large photosynthetic potential, strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong, and with a little fruit flavor. Hainan has more than 10 local coffee brands, such as "Xinglong", "Fushan", "Lishen", "Spring", "Nanguo", "Wuzhishan" and so on.

According to the report on the Market Development and Development trend of Chinese Coffee Shop Industry from 2017 to 2022 released by Booz data, the rapid decline in international coffee prices in 2011 had an extremely obvious impact on the coffee planting industry, and the industry output value declined by more than 30% in 2012. However, the decline in coffee prices has little impact on the coffee circulation industry, processing industry and the tertiary industry.
