In the summer of 2022, Tea Baidao launched a product called "black lacquer black", which was made of dark mulberries and mixed with strawberries, pineapples, perfumes and lemons, so it looked black on the outside. Shortly after listing, this cup of fruit tea of Tea Baidao successfully captured a large number of fans with a good reputation, and returned every year as promised.
With the maturity of mulberries in the new season, this year's "black lacquer black" has also officially returned in the call of users, and brought the new product "Triple Berry Evening Cup" on the shelves at the same time.
According to the official propaganda, the "black lacquer black" returned this time is an upgraded version, and the taste is still the "old formula". The difference is that there will be differences in the preparation process of raw materials, in order to retain the sense of explosive juice brought by large pulp, each cup of tea requires that each cup will be prepared by manual peeling, except that mulberries need to be peeled, strawberries must be mashed by hand, and even mulberry juice must be squeezed on the same day. The whole process mainly typed one word: fresh.
For the improved version launched by the R & D Department, consumers must like to hear and see it, and the mulberry party even calls it a "love". But for kitchen workers, every "selling point" mentioned in tea will eventually become the beginning of their nightmares.
As the saying goes, there is no harm without comparison. According to the workers, the "old black lacquer black" on the shelves in the first few years uses frozen mulberry grains. Whenever the product is produced, the staff only need to take it out in advance to thaw, and then add the corresponding amount of other fruits and raw materials one by one according to the formula. Finally, it can be done by shaking it fully with the machine, which can be said to be simple and efficient.
But this year, the tea has changed its normality. Fresh mulberries are widely used in the new products, and in the production process, the R & D department not only requires the flesh to be peeled off and fresh squeezed, but also dismantles the original step into several processes.
First of all, the workers need to peel off the fragile mulberries one by one and prepare them for direct consumption; then they stir another wave of mulberries and pineapples into pulp, and then use a filter cloth to squeeze them to get a strong mulberry liquid.
According to the contestants in the morning class, the residue of this kind of mulberry is very delicate, so it is difficult to squeeze out the juice after pouring it into the filter bag. If you take 100 other tea products for example, it is "5 wheat juice = 2 strawberry juice = 1 mulberry juice". When it is not easy to squeeze out a bucket on the shelf, it only takes a few cups to be easily consumed, so the difficulty value of preparing materials is full again.
In addition to the extremely tedious preparation, the employees also said that the production process of the upgraded version of "black lacquer black" and the new product is also much more complicated than the original, with at least several additional processes, which is time-consuming and laborious. In terms of taste, people think that the new version is not much better than the old one, on the contrary, it only adds a lot of work, so it is really impossible to understand the "mystery operation" of the R & D department.
It is less than a day before the mulberry series is on the market. Throughout the relevant discussions on social platforms, except for the posts about taste comments, the rest are either beaters walking on the edge of "madness". Or they complain to their own R & D department: "the bag is fresh, it is a bit expensive", "the mulberry is peeled to madness in the tea hundred fruit store", "the preparation of ingredients is crazy, R & D is out to talk", "it has to be crowded." The R & D department is not giving us a chance to live. For the chef players, there may be nothing better than the news that it is a season limit.
