According to the coffee committee of Saudi Arabia (CSC), coffee exports in the year to March 2017 increased by 7.5 per cent and 3.3 per cent respectively compared with the same period in 2016.
Hugo Hernandez, chief executive of the committee, said that coffee exports from Saudi Arabia totaled US $37.9 million in the year to March 2017, reaching 220000, 874 kilograms, with an average price of US $171.64 per kilogram, the World Daily reported.
Chief Executive H pointed out that coffee exports from Saudi Arabia grew by 3.3% in the year to March 2017, an increase of 7040 metric tons of coffee over the same period in 2016; at the same time, coffee exports grew by 7.5%, an increase of US $2.65 million over 2016.
