Following last year's Spring Festival, Yuchi Township Sun Moon Lake Black Tea and Coffee have been invited to serve as State Banquet Drinks again! The annual event of the Chinese Cultural Association "2017 Midsummer-Arts and Culture Friendship Tea Party" will be held at Taipei Hotel on the 17th. Yuchi Township Office and Yuchi Township Farmers Association are invited to present Sun Moon Lake Black Tea and Sun Moon Lake Coffee by professional tea masters and baristas on the spot to share with guests the sweet tea aroma and soft fruit aroma of "Double Enjoy Bubble".

Chen Jinlun, head of Yuchi Township, and Wang Weiwen, director-general of Yuchi Farmers Association, said that the fine coffee presented on that day came from several manors in Yuchi Township. After picking ripe red fruits by hand, it was post-processed. Wu Yuanbing, a famous coffee teacher, led the Yuchi Township coffee production and marketing team to serve the guests of the state banquet. The production and marketing team members not only had talents in baking raw beans, but also had several young farmers certified by coffee quality inspectors. It is the only production and marketing team in Taiwan with multiple Q Grader coffee quality supervisors. Through exquisite hand brewing skills, Sun Moon Lake Fine Coffee can fully present its unique flavor.

Six SCAA & CQI Q Grader coffee quality assessors from Yuchi Township are Huang Jiahong, Shen Yongchao, Shen Yongwei, Liao Huanghua, Zhan Changlong and Huang Yucheng respectively. They will extract coffee and black tea with hand brewing skills together with coffee monitor Wu Yongqin and Sun Moon Lake black tea tea masters Xie Yiqian and Ling Yuhui at the state banquet site, and share and promote them with guests.

Sun Moon Lake Black Tea is hand-picked from the whole process. Guests can choose from Camellia Tea, Taiwan Tea No. 8, Taiwan Tea No. 18 and Taiwan Tea No. 21. Different from the past, it is brewed by creative coffee brewing equipment to make Sun Moon Lake Black Tea have more diversified flavor. Tea and brewing service on the day are provided by Yuchi Rural Association.
