The Queen Mother of Hamburg sells coffee well, but peanut butter is not good.

Shares of Restaurant Brands,QSR (QSR-US), the mother company of Hamburg, fell slightly after falling short of expectations, but closed up 0.74 per cent at $59.69 on Wednesday, according to MarketWatch.

QSR said in its earnings analysis on Wednesday that its peanut butter Nutella product did not sell well, but that the espresso beverage data were stable and would help revenue in the second half of the year. Although revenue for the quarter rose to $1.13 billion from $1.04 billion in the same period last year, it was still below analysts' estimates of $1.2 billion.

When it comes to Burger King, it is found that hamburgers at a premium sell better, including "Bacon King", "Steak King", "Crispy Chicken Sandwich" and "King Cheese with Lentinus edodes". Same-store revenue also rose 3.9% from the same quarter last year, and in terms of Burger King revenue, it rose to $293 million from $280 million last year.

Overall, QSR's profit per share rose 24% to 51 cents a share. It's even worse than McDonald's McDonald's (MCD-US), which reported results last week. The acquisition of Popeye Fried Chicken (Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen) in the first quarter will also diversify its product line.
