After losing his job, he signed up for the VTC's fine coffee course. Only then did he realize that he was different from hundreds of students in the same period. Even if I found interest, the test was not over. I couldn't find a job as a barista at the job fair, so I was forced to apply for a room attendant at the Lishan Hotel. Even though life was simple and comfortable, it was not practical.

Six months later, he went down the mountain, shook his hand for another six months to make a living, ran the coffee business, and resigned again. He drank all the cafes in Taipei and quickly accumulated professional knowledge. He thought he could learn from a famous coffee shop, but he was disappointed because he saw reality.

All the waiting is for now

Until a year ago, I met Annie and Kinh, a couple who came back from the United States. Even if they were not fluent in English, they had no choice but to move forward. Finally, they applied for a barista. Tossing four years, stop-and-go, as if all the waiting is for now. Now he, who believed in God, said that all this was God's best arrangement.

Lin Baiyou said that the barista he wanted to be was destined not to be rich and noble, not to drive Mercedes, but to drive a domestic car. We value human feelings more than turnover. The soul of the store.

Mama Zhang often hangs around the shop and sits there like an ordinary customer. In the past, Annie's mother was actually the kind of adult who wanted to slip away after classmates came to the house to say hello when she was a child. Unexpectedly, she had the best relationship with her mother now. She said, God saved her mother, and her mother's change also changed me.

Asked if this shop is not like a spiritual confessional room, Zhang mother quickly explained modestly, we do not like special indoctrination, but naturally infected others, everyone's troubles and fatigue, do not need special someone to listen, as long as stay here, can heal these people who come to the door.

Zhang mother recalled that there was a young lady carrying a big bag, walked into the store looked very tired, ordered a meal silently sitting at the bar, before leaving, but especially said to her: "Thank you, this is a place for her to recharge."

Annie also said that although the whole family is Christian, she deeply understands what it feels like to be forced to preach the gospel on the road, so she only helps guests when they need it.

Annie, who is now family-oriented, usually takes turns visiting the store with her husband.

Although she is the proprietress, she spends most of her time at home with her children every day. Annie is the only daughter in her family. When she was young, she lacked family care. When she grew up, she paid special attention to family relations. She often thought that after doing it for a few more years, she would leave it to the staff to manage and consider returning to the United States with her husband.

Annie frankly said that she was too tired to close the store. In fact, she almost sold the store a month ago. Until recently, there were still inquiries, but because she couldn't do what God didn't allow, she decided to continue doing it.
