On the basis of the previous years, this Coffee Culture Festival combines literature, opera, music and coffee, presents a rich and stylish spiritual feast for teachers and students in the collision of Chinese and Western culture and art, and relives the good time of reading and reciting poems on the banks of the Riva River. experience the pleasant freedom of the collision of ideas in the fragrance of coffee. Coffee Culture Festival on the Riva River

The Special Concert of Chinese and Foreign Poems, Art songs and operas in the Voice of Liva is performed by the teachers and students of the Opera experiment Center of East China normal University together with the Old Teachers' Choir and the Liva Children's Voice Choir. At the beginning of the concert, the "yearning" of the old professor choir brought the audience into a mood as mellow as coffee, while the song "the Best Future" brought by Liva Children's Choir made the scene full of vitality. The song "that is me" produced by the Opera Experimental Center and the classic Don Juan serenade in Mozart's opera Don Juan make people immerse themselves in the beauty of opera.

As one of the key activities of this Coffee Culture Festival, "encounter unexpectedly-- A Dialogue between Western Classical Music and Ancient Chinese Poetry". Starting with the combination of ancient Greek and Roman poetry and music, Fang Xiaoyi, a researcher from the Institute of Ancient Books of East China normal University, and Zheng Yan, an associate professor in the Music Department, then introduced the lyrics quoted in the title music and art songs of the Romantic period. This paper focuses on the analysis of how the great Austrian composer Mahler expresses poetry in the orchestration and musical form of the Voice of the Earth created according to Tang poetry, as well as the artistic conception of the original poems of Li Bai, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran and others on which the lyrics are based, so as to show the audience the powerful charm produced by the collision of Chinese and Western culture and art.

The five-day Coffee Culture Festival also includes photography competitions, coffee flower shows, hand-painted coffee cups and other special activities to enable teachers and students to find art, design and innovation in life.
