If the bill is passed, the cafes will be closed after a three-to four-year grace period, and animals will be sent to South Korea's national ecological parks, zoos and other places for protection.

As coffee shops with daily / domestic animals such as cats, dogs, pigs, ducks and ducks can no longer meet consumers' pursuit of new things, special animal-themed cafes / restaurants have become popular in South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and other countries in recent years. Many consumers who have visited said that these stores have a strong smell of animals, eat and drink more or less stained with animal hair, animals will also jump on the table to grab food. Basically, if you've been there once, you won't go there again.

Earlier, Taiwanese media reported that the owner of an animal cafe in Taipei had accused the owner of abusing raccoons in the store. Some consumers complained to the animal protection organization that the coffee shop owner was raccoon, and then a former employee provided a video of the boss showing the dog biting the raccoon. The comment area is full of abuse. Afterwards, the owner of the coffee shop issued an apology that the abused raccoon had been taken care of by the Taipei Animal Protection Center, and the boss explained the allegations of animal cruelty like this: misunderstanding caused by lack of experience in raising raccoons and unfamiliarity with raccoon habits.
