He was fired from the company on February 26, 2022 for serious violation of the unit's rules and regulations. On May 23, 2022, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security issued a "notice of Administrative punishment for Labor Security Supervision" to the unit. As of May 27, 2022, the unit did not make a statement and defense. On June 6, 2022, this organ issued a decision on Administrative punishment for Labor Security Supervision to the unit.

According to the provisions on the Prohibition of the use of Child Labour, the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security imposed a fine of 10000 yuan.

According to the Southern Metropolis Daily, the owner of the store concerned responded that the child laborer claimed to be over 15 years old and was an idle member of society. He was expelled because he had made trouble at school, wanted to work in the shop during the winter vacation, and asked the child worker to hand in a copy of his ID card, but he never gave it, so he agreed to hire the child worker because there was a shortage of manpower in the store.

Soon after, the child laborer was fired for playing with his mobile phone, sleeping and slacking off at work, so he took revenge and gathered several social personnel to make trouble in the store and reported it to the store. The owner of the store involved also said that the fine had not yet been paid due to the shortage of funds.
