The Starbucks LOGO, which was once copied, appeared here.
At the end of December 2021, Starbucks Coffee, which opened in Caracas, Venezuela, attracted the attention of many netizens. Today, the same LOGO appears not only in Venezuela, but even in American colleges and universities. Friends who are impressed by the fake Starbucks may have the wrong idea.

According to local media reports in Glenville, West Virginia, a new coffee shop called We Proudly Serve Starbucks has opened in a corner of the campus of Glenville State University. The coffee shop officially opened to the public on August 15, local time, and students and staff on campus have already tasted the coffee shop.
According to the pictures provided in the report, we can see that the logo printed on the paper provided by the coffee shop is more than the usual Starbucks logo with the words "WE PROUDLY SERVE" above, and is highly similar to the Venezuelan fake "Starbucks Coffee" logo previously reported by the coffee shop.

Earlier, the media visited the scene and found that the windows of the "We Proudly Serve" coffee shop in Venezuela were pasted with the green mermaid LOGO, and the employees were also wearing short sleeves and green aprons emblazoned with fake Starbucks LOGO, and the price of the drink was more than half cheaper than that of the genuine Starbucks.

As Venezuela used to be a rich country, until 2014, the local economy gradually became depressed, water and electricity shortages and shelf shortages have become common, but people yearn for what was once a "high quality" life. Therefore, although Venezuelans know it is a fake Starbucks, they still take pictures and show off on social platforms.
Of course, with their own brand being copied aboveboard, Starbucks made an official clarification for the first time: they did not open any stores in Venezuela.
As for the "We Proudly Serve" logo, according to Nestl é's official information, it is actually "Starbucks Coffee Service". The Starbucks Coffee Service project is based on the global cooperation between Starbucks and Nestl é, a coffee beverage solution carried out by Nestl é and its directly authorized distributors outside Starbucks stores.

Starbucks Coffee Service differs from Starbucks Coffee in that the former is Nestl é's service through the influence of the Starbucks brand, not a store, while the latter is a direct store of its own brand.
According to the official website of Glenville State University, the "We Proudly Serve" coffee shop on the campus has nothing to do with the fake Starbucks in Venezuela, and the plan is a coffee service that reached awareness with its partners in August last year.

The faculty and staff of the university said in an interview with the media that the arrival of the coffee shop provided a convenient place for teachers and students to communicate and drink coffee, and improved the learning environment of the university.
As for the Venezuelan copycat Starbucks, there were media reports in mid-January that the accused coffee shop had covered up its brand logo and closed its premises a day after Nestl é issued a statement. The head of Venezuela's National Commission for Commerce and Services has issued a stern statement against the country's copycat Starbucks. Some Venezuelan legal personages said that it is illegal for Venezuelan businessmen to copy international well-known brands.
