The average altitude of the Yega Shefi production area is 1,700 - 2,100 meters, making it one of the production areas with higher altitude in the Ethiopian production area. There is a significant temperature difference between day and night at high altitudes, which will prolong the ripening time of coffee fruits and enable them to accumulate more substances to develop a better coffee flavor. Not only that, because the Yekashefi production area is located on the southern edge of the Great Rift Valley in East Africa, it is mainly a plateau and mountainous landform.
