Why Koreans Drink Coffee
A survey released by a South Korean employment website on June 30 asked 500 office workers about their daily coffee consumption. The results showed that more than 110 respondents said they drank at least four cups of coffee a day, accounting for 21.9% of the respondents.
As for the reasons for drinking coffee, 25.7% of the respondents said it was a habit; 18.3% of the respondents thought that drinking coffee could relax their mood; 16.9% of the respondents relieved their drowsiness by drinking coffee; 12.9% of the respondents said that drinking coffee can concentrate; and 11% of the respondents said that drinking a cup of coffee after a meal will make them feel happy.
According to reports, studies have shown that it is appropriate for each person to consume no more than 400 milligrams of caffeine per day.
