Japanese cafes are full of tricks to cope with fierce competition
For Japanese comic book fans, the comic book cafe should be the best hideout. Customers can enjoy private space in the cafe, drink freely and experience the unimpeded Internet at the same time. With the increasingly competitive market, more and more comic book cafes are offering customers all kinds of amenities and intimate services, with deluxe facilities such as food, cats, hot springs and even daylight tanning machines competing to attract customers.
Traditional cafes only serve monotonous fast food such as ramen and snacks, but recently some cafes have begun to offer a wide variety of cooked food, such as buffets and pancakes. Other cafes have a dual business model, such as the Cat Cafe, which is divided into a comic book shop and a cat pub, where people can play with all kinds of lovely cats while reading comics; and some cafes cooperate with hot springs to let people take a comfortable bath after a day's hard work and enjoy delicious drinks at the same time; some cafes even introduce all kinds of entertainment facilities and even Nikko tanning machines at all costs.
These are just the tip of the iceberg among many comic book cafes in Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that cafes are gradually improving their service standards and are beginning to compete with The Business Inn. (internship compilation: Yang Aiping, Yue Jiaxuan review: Guo Wenjing)
