Taiwan media: study says drinking 5 cups of coffee a day reduces breast cancer risk by nearly 20%.

Swedish researchers conducted a 20-year daily diet survey of 40000 women, including the amount of caffeine in coffee and tea, and found that women who drank more than five cups of coffee a day had a 19% lower risk of breast cancer than those who drank one or two cups a day, according to British media reports.
However, the survey also found that women who had more than one cup of tea a day had a 19% increase in breast cancer compared with women who did not touch tea at all. The researchers said that the study that "coffee helps reduce the risk of breast cancer" may have something to do with the antioxidants in coffee, which can effectively protect cells and prevent cancers from becoming cancerous.
