Yesterday (28), the charity activity of "Huangpu temperature-scholarly Coffee" was launched in Renaissance SOHO Square. From November 1 to 30, citizens can exchange one of their old books for a free cup of coffee in 34 cafes in Huangpu district. The event was jointly sponsored by the propaganda Department of Huangpu District Party Committee, the Office of Huangpu District spiritual Civilization Construction Committee and Shanghai Huangpu Digital Business Circle Operation Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the 34 cafes participating in the "bookscented Coffee" activities basically cover the Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road business circle, except for the large chain coffee shops, each shop is limited to 100 cups of coffee until it has been changed. Book changers can also get a blessing card at the cafe and write down the reasons for recommending the book. 3400 books corresponding to 3400 cups of coffee will be sent to schools in the counterpart support area of Huangpu District and Sinan Road normal sharing reading promotion platform "Shu Xiang Sinan Humanities Central Axis". According to the organizers, "scholarly Coffee" is the first phase of the "Huangpu temperature" series. In the future, "Huangpu temperature" will meet with the public regularly in the form of a series of themes.

At the launching ceremony, a deer-shaped bookshelf named "Sinan Lu" was officially launched. Some of the books collected in "scholarly Coffee" will be sent to the activities related to "Shu Xiang Sinan Humanities Central Axis" through this "deer" bookshelf. Excellent historical protection buildings such as the Science Hall and Sinan Mansion along Sinan Road, characteristic reading activities such as "Sinan Book Club", and a "scholarly community" composed of more than 40 party and government organs, social organizations, enterprises and institutions along Sinan Road, has become a major brand of Shanghai citizens' cultural life.
