Now NASA says that with this 3D printed coffee cup, it will be different. NASA says there's a 3D printed coffee cup, and astronauts on the space station have always had to put coffee or other drinks in IV bags to drink them, which is really tasteless.

For a long time, astronauts on the space station have to put coffee or other drinks in "infusion bags" to absorb and drink. Recently, however, NASA launched a coffee cup made by 3D printing, which allows astronauts to have a drinking experience similar to that in a normal gravity environment with the help of special container shapes.

It is worth mentioning that, due to almost no gravity, when tilting an ordinary cup, the liquid will not flow out, but still stay in the cup, so how can you enjoy it? Through an in-depth study of the behavior of liquid flow in microgravity, Mark Weislogel from Portland State University designed an ingenious V-shaped groove in the side wall of the cup, so that the surface tension of the liquid can be used to draw the liquid out of the cup, making it easier to drink.

In addition, Mark Weislogel says it's okay to take a sip or drink it continuously, as confirmed by the actual experience of several astronauts.
