Indonesian coffee will increase this year.

The Indonesian Coffee Export Association predicts that apart from domestic consumption, which will increase from 200000 tons last year to 250000 tons, Indonesia will produce coffee this year.

Thanks to government encouragement, farmers 'persistence and better weather conditions this year, Indonesia's coffee production this year will increase by 20% from 8.3 million bags last year to 10 million bags, setting a new record since 2009. The Indonesian Coffee Export Association predicts that Indonesia's coffee exports will increase by 14% to 400,000 tons this year, in addition to domestic consumption increasing from 200,000 tons last year to 250,000 tons.

Due to the decrease in coffee exports from major producing countries such as Vietnam, the global coffee export volume in January this year was only 7.99 million bags, down 9.9% year-on-year. But exports from major coffee-producing countries will pick up quickly as prices on international markets rise rapidly.
