The Indonesian peninsula consists of about 12.000 islands with 13.000 islands, the number of which varies from year to year.

Our first destination was Medan, the fourth metropolis of North Sumatra province on the Indonesian peninsula north-west of Jakarta, on the Indonesian capital Java, where Japan had flown for about seven and a half hours via Singapore.
