Starbucks opens its first juice bar in the United States

Starbucks, the world's largest coffee chain, opened its first juice bar in the United States, the biggest move by Starbucks to expand its non-coffee business, Economic Voice reported. The juice bar will sell fresh and bottled fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, rolls and salads.

Starbucks hopes to strengthen her position in the $50 billion health food market, and analysts expect profit margins in juice bars to be lower than those in Starbucks coffee shops, given the fierce competition in the market.
