Fenghe Park in Taoyuan City is designed as a metropolitan landscape (disaster prevention) park, which can hold a flood detention pool of about 57800 cubic meters of water, so that it can play a flood control role in the event of flooding, but it only happens once every 10 years on average. in order to make the park closer to the public, the city government plans to make use of the highland difference of the park flood detention pool, including sliding slides, forest coffee rest areas and other facilities to improve the utilization rate.

According to the plan of the works Bureau, there are also facilities such as bunker play area, lawn stage area, grassy slope viewing area and hydrophilic river, and improve the quality of park seats, develop Fenghe Park into a "Fenghe Theater" that can hold various activities, and update and improve the trail and lighting system, so that Fenghe Park will become a park with both disaster prevention and leisure functions.

Cheng Wen-Chan said that the landscape water channel in the park is easy to dissipate the smell during the dry season, affecting the quality of life of the residents. The city government plans to set up disaster prevention wells in the park to divert water into the landscape water channel and provide live water to activate the water channel. When water is scarce, war preparedness wells can also be used to support people's livelihood, and water purification units such as gravel zones can be set up to purify the water quality and become a hydrophilic space.
