Coffee production and export volume increased in the first three months of 2017.
According to the Colombian National Coffee producers Association, coffee production in March was 1.02 million bags, an increase of 8.1% over the same period last year. In the first three months of this year, coffee production reached 3.6 million bags, an increase of 13% compared with the same period last year. Colombian coffee exports so far this year have reached 3.5 million bags, an increase of 5 per cent over the same period last year.
