"Yuxin Europe" is growing, and the most significant change is the expansion of the variety of goods. According to the relevant person in charge of the municipal logistics office, in the past, the supply of "Yuxin Europe" was mainly IT products, but now, in the supply of "Yuxin Europe", IT products account for only 40%. The types of goods have been diversified.

Help the coffee industry to create something out of nothing

In fact, because it is not the origin of raw materials, few people associate the words "Chongqing" with "coffee". But according to Hu Lu, secretary general of the Yunnan Coffee Industry Association, "there is no coffee golden Phoenix in Chongqing, but there are coffee plane trees in Chongqing."

He said that New York in the United States and London in the United Kingdom are not the origin of coffee, but because of developed transportation and financial advantages, they have become the two largest coffee distribution centers in the world. The same is true of Chongqing, especially the existence of "Chongqing New Europe", which makes Chongqing more confident.

As the leader of the domestic coffee industry, Hougu Coffee also takes a fancy to "Yuxin Europe". The person in charge said that in the past, it took more than 3 months to take more than 3 months from the customer to place an order to the export of coffee beans, and then to receive and pay for the goods. Through "Yu Xin Europe", it saves 2% of the time and 3% of the time before, and can also achieve capital turnover within half a month, which is undoubtedly a great benefit to enterprises.

In July 2015, the first Hougu Coffee "Yuxin Europe" special train was sent out from the central station of Tuanjie Village in Shapingba.

Last year, Hougu Coffee worked with Chongqing to build Chongqing Coffee Trading Center. In only half a year, the transaction volume exceeded 4 billion yuan, making it the largest spot coffee trading platform in China.

Change the international rules of postal transportation

People-to-people exchanges in various countries are becoming more and more frequent, and the demand for cross-border transportation of personal belongings is increasing. Compared with air and sea transportation, rail mail has more advantages in terms of comprehensive cost.

But rail mail has always been a "restricted area". In the Agreement on International Railway Freight Transport (hereinafter referred to as "International Freight Association") issued by the Railway Cooperation Organization (OSJD) in 1956, it is expressly stipulated that "postal goods are not allowed to be transported in the international railway through freight transport". At the same time, before 2014, China-EU railways had never transported containers carrying international parcels, and it is unclear how customs, inspection and quarantine and postal departments should work together.

Although the road ahead is bumpy, "Yuxin Europe" dares to explore. In January 2014, our city organized the domestic test of "Yu Xin Europe" mail transportation, and basically mastered the basic situation that we need to know in railway mail transportation. At the same time, our city actively coordinates with the railway departments of the 27 member states of the Railway Cooperation Organization, and docks with the customs, inspection and quarantine and postal departments of various countries along the "Yuxin Europe" to discuss the use of "Yuxin Europe" for railway postal transportation.

Where there's a will, there's a way. In June 2014, the International Organization for Railway Cooperation deleted the provision in the International Freight Association prohibiting the cross-border transport of postal supplies by rail.

In May last year, the General Administration of Customs approved Chongqing to become the first pilot city of China-Europe train for postal transport. in October, "Yuxin Europe" arrived at the Frankfurt Mail processing Center in Frankfurt, Germany, carrying 26 bags of parcels and a total of 139 pieces of mail. it has created a precedent for the entire transport of international parcels by China-Europe international railway freight trains, and further achieved innovation and breakthrough in system and mechanism.

Promote the development of "whole vehicle" market in Chongqing

Before, the whole vehicle transportation has been mainly by sea. However, if the whole vehicle by sea wants to enter the inland area, it needs "sea plus land transportation", which will take about two months, which is too much for many enterprises.

The emergence of "Chongqing New Europe" allows enterprises to see new choices.

"through Yuxin Europe, it only takes about two weeks for our whole car to arrive in Chongqing, and then it will be distributed to other inland provinces and cities, and the time cost saved will be converted into the competitiveness of the enterprise." The relevant person in charge of Rundong Group said so.

In 2014, the state formally approved the establishment of a complete vehicle import port in Chongqing, laying the foundation for the "Yuxin Europe" transportation of complete vehicles. In September of the same year, 80 vehicles from Europe came to Chongqing with "Yuxin Europe", which opened the cooperation between "Yuxin Europe" and "whole vehicle".

In June last year, the first "Yuxin Europe" parallel imported car special train carrying 82 parallel imported cars successfully arrived in Chongqing. In 2016, "Yuxin Europe" imported more than 2000 vehicles, ranking first in the western inland region. In about two years, Chongqing's vehicle market has achieved a great breakthrough, and the whole vehicle has also become one of the most important sources of goods in the "Yuxin Europe" return train.
