The company launched 10 new "positive pressure cans" coffee beans with new fresh-keeping technology. The unopened coffee beans can be kept fresh for up to four years, and the most expensive "Blue Mountain NO.1" costs NT $3500 per can.
UCC "positive pressure can" series of 10 different producing areas of coffee beans on the market, developers Hiroshi Higuang came to Taiwan to share, generally raw beans after roasting within 12 hours into the positive pressure jar, and sealed with nitrogen, while sealing the carbon dioxide released by the coffee beans, so that the pressure in the tank rises, after 3 weeks of preservation, so that the gas in the aluminum can slowly reach a balanced pressure, so that the coffee beans continue to mature. Barista Yang Yishan added that due to a 47% increase in the total aroma content of the "Yang pressure can" coffee beans, the brewed coffee will taste softer than ordinary coffee. It is recommended that the coffee be used within 2 weeks to ensure the fresh quality of the coffee beans.
To celebrate the anniversary, UCC "Yang pressure can" coffee beans opened online at the same time, and launched a limited edition of SMILE coffee: blue Mountain NO.1 in Jamaica, Alishan in Taiwan, and Jade Manor in Panama (geisha). From now until April 23, the flagship store of Dunhua SOGO in Taipei has also specially invited three champion baristas to stay in Taiwan to share the flavor of coffee with more consumers.
