Japan's Kanazawa University and Kanazawa University of Technology opened "0 yuan cafes" in order to prevent local college students from entering the country looking for jobs, Japan's Asahi Shimbun reported on May 31. Students can drink more than 10 kinds of drinks, including coffee, for free in the store, and they can also surf the Internet for free. Since its opening a year and a half ago, the cafe has attracted more than 20,000 students. Mihara, who runs the cafe, said that student employment exchange activities are often held in the cafe, and companies also publish advertisements in the cafe.
