Under the influence of the economic sanctions of the United States and Europe, Russia has to find another way to expand foreign trade and economic cooperation. Russian and Indonesian state-owned enterprises reached a "barter" agreement a few days ago, under which Indonesia will exchange Su-35 fighter jets with Russia for coffee, tea and other products.

Indonesian Trade Minister Lu Youen, who visited Russia a few days ago, said in a statement on the 4th that Indonesia Trading Co., Ltd. and the Russian State Industry and Technology Group (Rostec) had signed a memorandum of "barter". The deal, proposed by Russia, involves 11 Su-35 fighter jets and several products, including coffee and tea.

Last year, the trade volume between Russia and India reached 2.11 billion US dollars. Lu Youen hopes that the signing of the memorandum will facilitate barter transactions between the two sides in other areas. Lu Youen said: the two countries should seize the opportunity to grasp the great potential for economic cooperation during the embargo and anti-embargo period.
