Dennis Muhammad Abdullah, a 28-year-old Dutch man, fell in love at first sight when he met the right girl in a coffee shop and later learned that she was the princess of Johor, Malaysia. Their relationships also blossomed and bear fruit, with a wedding on Monday at the Grand Palace in Johor.
Princess Aminay of Johor, 31, chose to get married yesterday because it was also the birthday of her mother, Raja Chari Sophia. The couple saluted at the traditional Johor royal wedding ceremony, which was attended by 1200 guests, including not only Johor royal family members and Dennis's relatives and friends, but also political dignitaries such as Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, Brunei leaders and envoys from various countries.
