The Japanese non-governmental organization Cafe Rescue Cafe (Kitten Cafe Sanctuary) and the Pension Railway Company (Yoro Railway) teamed up to launch a "Cat Cafe" event in Ogaki City in central Japan on the 10th, allowing 30 cats to interact with train passengers.
On the same day, the first train left from the nursing station to Ikeano station, and the second train from Ikeano station to Ogaki station. There are only 40 seats on each flight and the price is 3000 yen, and passengers participating in the event can enjoy a bento, a candy and a ticket for the old-age railway that can be used unlimited times that day.
It is reported that the cats involved in the event were originally stray cats who were about to be euthanized. The event planner said he hoped to let more people know about stray cats and change the fate of stray cats being hunted and killed.
