I still remember that the last time I came back to Taiyuan Road was more than three months ago, during the busiest period of college graduation production. at that time, I traveled all over the back station for prop materials, and even collected a lot of pocket lists here at the same time. Corner Park is one of them. But after a long time, I forgot which stores I wanted to visit, maybe it was fate, and I happened to work nearby on this day. When the matter came to an end, I thought I might as well come to a cafe, and I happened to think of this corner park coffee.

The sign is so small that it is almost covered by the sign of the printing shop and bottle and can wholesaler next door. If you hadn't paid special attention to it when passing by, you wouldn't have found this corner park here.

I don't know if the saturated yellow at the door is deliberately painted, maybe it doesn't match the style of the old house, but I like such a flamboyant tone very much.

Walking up the stairs seems to be cut off from the world just now, and the light around it is warm and comfortable, which makes it full of green posture in front of the hallway next to the stairs.

Corner Park Coffee is run by a couple. From the end of 2015, looking at the introduction written on their website, it seems that there is a romantic story behind the cafe. The two people who met because of coffee finally achieved their dream of opening a cafe. Today's Corner Park confirms their unswerving feelings, whether to each other or coffee.

As soon as I opened the door, I decided that I would fall in love here. With the tall old house buildings, I could see the wooden eaves that had spent many days and nights, and the surrounding walls and floors had been rearranged, but still kept part of the old house, and the window view facing the outside sun on the bottom was my favorite.

When I visited the Corner Park on the first day, I didn't expect that there would be so many guests on weekdays, so we left after drinking and booked seats for the next day. I thought maybe it was because there was no time limit, it was still the next day on weekdays, and the corner park was still full, so I was glad that I had a reservation in advance so that I could sit by the window with good light.

Although there are many guests, most of them work and read quietly alone, while enjoying the leisurely coffee in the corner park while seriously dealing with their own fortifications.

Under the light-lit white window screen, under such an old Chinese-style building, it feels a bit like a Korean simple cafe, very much like my collection of Daegu Cafe!

If you take a closer look, you will find that each table and chair is different. It is said that the furniture is made up by husband and wife, both new and second-hand. Although the styles are different, they match each other very much. Because of the addition of table cloth, cushions and pillows, the whole looks particularly warm, and always feels like a warm smell of home.

Even if not near the window, this small round table is also very charming, which immediately reminds me of many old TV dramas and movies that once appeared in a family circle to eat.

Corner Park Coffee is also sold in cooperation with designers, and interested friends can buy it directly on the spot. In addition, many picture books and books can be found in the cafe, all of which can be read free of charge.

As I was walking, I suddenly heard a "Meow--" and found that there was still a kitten in the corner park, but he was really afraid of birth. After walking a few steps and dawdling on the owner, he quietly hid back behind the bar.

By the way, there is no service charge for corner park coffee, there is no time limit here, and sockets and networks are provided, which can be said to be the most ideal coffee shop in my heart. The consumption part is a cup of drink. Since we are here, it is certainly necessary to order a cup of coffee, hot tea or a single item of honey. The signature corner coffee, an ice brick made of black coffee, has a shining color before it is poured into the milk. It is so beautiful that you can add different portions of fresh milk according to your own preference. I was very greedy on this day. I was worried that it would be too milky, and the taste of coffee was a little lighter than that of fresh milk, and the pure milk flavor was mixed with a slightly bitter coffee flavor. As a whole, it tastes quite smooth and soft.

I especially like the gradual layer that is evenly mixed with coffee ice bricks after fresh milk is poured into it, which is a color palette with coffee flavor.

Granddaughter's pudding $100 yuan

It is said that the pudding made of fresh milk, eggs and black sugar was originally made only for the granddaughter of the family, so it was called the granddaughter's pudding. Because it was so delicious, I decided not to share it with the guests in the corner park.

It is not a soft, melted taste, but it is thicker than I imagined. It tastes very good, and you can eat egg flavor, while the black sugar at the bottom is sweet but not greasy. In addition, the selection of ingredients is also intentional and persistent. Most of them cooperate with small farmers in Taiwan, such as the pudding part, using fresh milk from square farms and humane raising and stocking eggs.

Tira Misu $120

As soon as I dug up, I saw that the interior showed a light brown color, which seemed to be the addition of more concentrated and coffee wine, which made the aroma and color of the coffee heavier. Although it tasted sweeter, it was my favorite moist texture. So I ate it all in one mouthful.

Honey lemon $130

I especially wanted to drink this cup of honey lemon on the first day of my visit, but unfortunately I sold out. Fortunately, I drank it when I visited again the next day. The honey made by Nantou bee farmers is said to be natural honey without artificial procedures, so it is quite time-consuming but it also appears that such honey is more precious. Coupled with organic lemons, it is a summer drink that relieves summer heat and relieves weariness. Honey drinks are seasonally limited, so in addition to coffee, honey drinks from Jiao Park are also recommended.

Camellia honey water $120 yuan

This is the drink ordered on the first day of my visit to the corner park, because the honey lemon was sold out, so I ordered camellia honey water instead. What is interesting is that a spoon with honey is attached to one side, so you can taste the original taste of honey before drinking it, just like when you drink a single cup of coffee. Smell the beans first.

Eating this mouthful of honey in one mouthful is a pleasant taste. At first, it feels very sweet, but this sweetness gradually evaporates in the mouth, and in the end, it does not feel sweet, leaving honey fragrance. Camellia honey water tastes like honey water that you usually drink, with a light sweetness.

Black sugar latte, hot $150

The surface is a layer of crispy brown sugar chips. When you drink it, you will first taste the brown sugar chips, followed by a warm, milky latte. I quite like this black sugar latte. It is rare that it will not let me drink the last and sweet taste. I really like the surface of black sugar with a slightly crisp taste.

I picked up the coffee cup and found a little love on the plate.

What is lovable is not only the yellowing temperature left by the old house, but also the coffee and other simple tastes managed by the husband and wife. Everything here seems ordinary, but it has a simple and nostalgic beauty, whether it is tasted in the mouth, in front of the eyes and in the heart.
