Japan has launched a Coca-Cola Coffee Plus Coke Coffee, which is sold in parts of the Northeast and East China Sea, and vending machines are limited, making it the best of both worlds for those who want to drink coffee and have a carbonated taste.

This Coke Coffee costs 130 yen (about HK $9) and looks similar to traditional red can Coke, except for three extra beans in Coca-Cola white typeface. It contains 34 milligrams of caffeine per 6.4 oz, the same amount of caffeine as 12 oz canned cola.

This Coke Coffee, which is co-produced with the company's brand Georgia, is a novelty to the Japanese who love coffee. However, a Japanese pilot said: "frankly, it's not very delicious, but it's not as bad as you think."
