Thai netizen Nostalgic Eik posted a photo on Facebook on Tuesday showing what he described as "cockroach feet" on coffee he bought at a McDonald's in Bangkok, CNA reported.
The netizen said in the post that he initially thought there were "cockroach feet" in the cup before the staff poured the coffee into the cup, so he asked the staff to give him another cup of coffee.
"but when the employees poured another cup, they seemed to find more cockroach feet in the coffee," he wrote on McDonald's Facebook page in Thailand. I feel even scarier. "

Nostalgic Eik's post went viral online and had been forwarded more than 1700 times by the evening of the 20th, with nearly 3000 messages and more than 10, 4000 likes.
On the evening of the 19th, Thailand's McDonald's issued a statement on Facebook that "apologized for the accident" and assured customers that all its employees acted in accordance with McDonald's food safety standards.
The statement added that after learning about the accident, the manager of the branch apologized to the customer and immediately provided him with a cup of fresh coffee.
McDonald's said that branch staff also turned on the coffee machine to check and clean up, these procedures are in line with the company's food safety standards. The coffee machine was later taken away for testing.
