How to match espresso beans\ definition of integrated coffee beans
For professional baristas, please follow the coffee workshop (Wechat official account cafe_style)
Comprehensive coffee beans are also known as formula coffee beans, mixed coffee beans, blended coffee beans (mainland), and blend coffee in English. It is a concept relative to individual coffee beans. The simple distinction is:
Individual coffee beans: in a bag of coffee beans, all are coffee beans from the same origin.
Blended coffee beans: a packet of coffee beans contains more than two kinds of coffee beans from different places.
What is the coffee bean mix?
Take a simple example:
1. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Worka, Ethiopia: the name refers to the coffee beans produced by the Woka (cooperative) in Yegashafi (large region) in Ethiopia (country). Each coffee bean comes from Waka, which is obviously a single bean, and you can experience the characteristics of Yega Sheffield Wauka as soon as you cook it.
two。 Red velvet (red velvet): this product, which has neither a country nor a producing area, is usually a comprehensive bean. In fact, there are no rules for store names. Most of them like to choose a name that sounds wonderful according to the tonality and taste of the coffee, some simply use the No. 1 work of the experiment, and of course some are inexplicably confused. This is still a hobby of the shop owner. Fortunately, most stores will specifically indicate that these are mixed coffee beans, and some will indicate which individual coffee products are made.
The definition of mixed beans is super simple, but as the fine coffee becomes more and more refined, there are some differences in the definition of mixed coffee beans.
For example, there are three different estates in vvcafe, namely, flora, Alim and Waka. According to the definition, there are more than two kinds of coffee beans from different places of origin, but all three coffee beans are from Ethiopia, but the manor is different. Should this be called Ethiopia Yejasuefei single bean or Ethiopia Yejasuefei comprehensive bean?
Definition of blended coffee beans
It is generally called comprehensive beans. After all, when we worked out this formula, we treated three Yega Snow Fei as independent works with different flavors, and mixed and baked three beans in different proportions to stack different flavors. So it is more appropriate to call it matching beans.
