[WCE announces qualified equipment and sponsors for 2018-2020]

The World Coffee Championships are held thanks to the support and dedication of various organizations and individuals. The components of the support are qualified sponsors, manufacturers provide equipment & products that competitors use on the stage. These sponsors have signed a three-year agreement to support the strategic growth of competition and invest time and resources to ensure that every World Championship competitor uses the same high-quality equipment. 2018-2020 will be the next qualified sponsorship cycle, with Victoria Arduino returning as coffee machine sponsor of the World barista Championship (wbc), Mahlk ö nig as sponsor of White Blood Grinder, and Urnex joining as sponsor of cleaning products for World Championship. Sanremo will be sponsor of coffee machine for the good Spirit of the World and World Cup latte Art Championship, which will have Mahlk ö nig and Anfim as grinder sponsors. Ditting will be the sponsor of the world winemaker's cup grinder, while Technivorm will be the champion winemaker of the World Cup wine tasters.

In order to become qualified sponsors, manufacturers submit their equipment and products to qualified testing procedures and perform performance tests using a set of standards developed by industry experts of qualified testing committees. If the equipment or product passes all the test criteria for its category, then it is officially qualified for use in the world championship competition. At that time, all eligible manufacturers will be invited to submit tenders for the upcoming qualified sponsor positions in each event.

The sponsorship proposal is made by the WCE Advisory Committee based on many considerations, including the provision of equipment, logistics, staff and financial resources for the championship event, as well as investment and interest in global baristas assessment. Society.
