Bali Blue Moon Organic comes from a family farm in the Kintamani Heights, Bali Island, Indonesia. Coffee is grown in the volcanic soil of Mount Argonne, accompanied by citrus trees that provide shade and another source of income. Coffee production usually revolves around Subak Abian, which refers to an ecologically sustainable irrigation system developed by Hindu priests more than 1,000 years ago to practice Tri Hita Karana (the three sources of prosperity), a philosophy that focuses on the environment, man and God.
