However, studies have confirmed that caffeine can stimulate osteophagocytic activity. in adult studies, it has been found that bone loss occurs when calcium intake is insufficient, while calcium intake in adolescent children is generally inadequate. and adolescence needs enough calcium to build bones, and drinking coffee during this period will affect children's bone development.

Second, caffeine has the effect of activating the sympathetic nerve, resulting in a short-term increase in high blood pressure, but it has a long-term effect on growing children. The study found that adolescent children who are used to drinking caffeinated drinks such as pick-me-up drinks and coffee generally have higher blood pressure than other children who have no drinking habits, and have a significantly higher risk of developing high blood pressure in the future, which is not conducive to their cardiovascular development.
