Sleep Cafe? Isn't the cafe a place to stay more and more sober? Why has it become a place to sleep?

Not long ago, China Sleep Research Association and other institutions released a report on "exercise and Sleep White Paper 2021". The data show that at present, more than 300 million people in China have sleep disorders, and long-term sleep disorders have a great impact on the health and development of the body. It even increases the incidence of various diseases. In addition, lack of sleep has already become a common problem in big cities.

In order to improve the sleep quality of the public, Nestle Coffee in Japan has once again opened the latest sleep cafe in Harajuku.

The Sleep Cafe, located in Tokyo, is designed to improve sleep problems and provide high-quality rest space.

According to reports, in the equipment, the cafe will have a semi-private box, including three leather recliners and a sofabed, customers can choose freely, but also can adjust the background music and lighting.

On the sleep package, the Sleep Cafe will offer two sleep options: a nap and a deep sleep. The first is 30 minutes + 1 cup of coffee, and the second is 60 minutes + 2 cups of coffee (one cup of decaffeinated coffee before going to bed and one cup of caffeinated refreshing coffee when you wake up). In addition, the coffee shop at NESCAFE Harajuku also offers two menus to improve sleep quality.

On the charge, it costs 825 yen for 30 minutes + 1 cup of coffee, 1650 yen for 60 minutes + 2 cups of coffee, and 825 yen for more than half an hour if you still want to feel the service after an hour.

The Sleep Cafe will be available for booking through NESCAFE's official website from March 10.

In fact, as early as 2019, Nestle Coffee opened its first permanent store in Ocho, Tokyo.

In addition, Nestl é has previously opened three sleep flash stores. Nestl é has held three time-limited experiences of the new sleep cafe service in Harajuku and Ginza in March 2017 and August 2017 and March 2018 respectively, all of which are said to be well received by the public.

On World Sleep Day 2017, Nestl é Coffee launched a pop-up shop about sleep coffee in Japan. The cafe can have a quiet place to sleep for only a few dozen yuan. Wake up and coffee can be refreshing.

There are also types of sleep cafes around the world.

For example, in May 2017, a Siesta & Go in Spain, this cafe can not only take a nap and drink coffee, but also have delicious food, books, newspapers, yoga and so on.

In 2019, a sleep cafe appeared in South Korea, which is equipped with capsule bedrooms, sleep lights and oxygen machines, thus attracting many consumers to relax or take a nap.

With the diversification of coffee consumption scenes in the market, the "new store model" of cafes has become one of the hot topics, and according to common sense, "coffee" and "sleep" are two completely opposite concepts. Nestle skillfully combines "coffee" and "sleep" to open a sleep cafe. In fact, sleep cafes do not have much to do with caffeine, but provide more relaxing scenes. Nestl é has opened a sleep cafe again, which may be a good choice for people who want to relax and take a nap after drinking coffee.
