Stroll early in the morning on the top of Wudong Mountain near the volcanic lake known as Tianzhang. Wudong Mountain is a high mountain in the Great Fenghuang Mountain area. it is the purest and most natural Dancong tea garden and the home of clean processing in all the Fenghuang Mountain tea area. The aroma type Dancong tea tree is planted in the grove according to its aroma type. Shan Fong literally means "work alone", which refers to the planting method seen here, where each tea tree can grow to a natural height and form its own trunk. Unlike terraced tea gardens, terraced tea trees are trimmed together to form a flat picking "table". The advantage of single fir cultivation is that it makes the tea plant reach natural height and depth; its root is deeply rooted in the mineral-rich soil of Fenghuang Mountain. The single fir tea tree grows very tall and forms a single trunk, which produces "secondary plant metabolites", that is, phytonutrients and aromatic compounds, giving Fenghuangdancong tea strong aromatic characteristics. Dancong tea varieties are classified according to their aroma types, such as honey orchid or sesame orchid.
Wudong Mountain is almost always shrouded in clouds, and Wudong Mountain stands on the larger Phoenix Mountain. Some Phoenix Dancong tea can be brewed dozens of times. We call this "patience" of tea. Population density single fir tea trees are planted at a relatively low population density, giving each tree enough space to grow fully to form its own trunk. The literal meaning of single cluster is "working alone".
