Tens of thousands of Vietnamese netizens flocked to the front page of the overlord Tea Ji's official Facebook account, clicked an angry expression on the post and left a message demanding that the "improper map" be deleted. So far, there are only a dozen posts on her Vietnamese Facebook page, but each one has attracted thousands or even tens of thousands of "angry" expressions, with more than 30,000 people expressing anger at it under a post posted on Friday alone.

In addition, some netizens posted screenshots pointing out that the brand was suspected of "responding to comments" on TikTok, infuriating Vietnamese netizens and further escalating the situation. According to the screenshot, one netizen left a message criticizing the overlord Tea Ji: "make money in Vietnam, but App's map has a 'nine-dash line', and there are many other milk tea brands to choose from." However, the official account of suspected Chagi replied strongly: "Chagee has no shortage of you as a customer." At present, the user comment is still available, but Chagee's reply has been deleted.

In response to a strong reaction from Vietnamese netizens, Tea King has removed the brand app from the Google and Apple app stores in the Vietnamese market, and when users try to download it, the platform will prompt "App hi tea n kh ô ng kh stores" (the app is not available in your region). However, users can still download the software from third-party app stores through other domains or on Android, which makes Vietnamese netizens more and more angry.

The nine-dash line is the maritime boundary line delineated by China in the South China Sea, which has always been the focus of international controversy because of its overlap with the territorial claims of Vietnam, the Philippines and other countries.

The Vietnamese government has always adopted strict control measures over maps involving the nine-dash line. whether they are promotional materials from international institutions or audio-visual publications, they all need to be censored in advance and do not allow the "nine-dash line" to appear in Vietnam in any form. once such images appear in commercial products, they can easily be interpreted by the public as a challenge to Vietnam's territorial claims, thus sparking strong resistance. Vietnamese officials launched a nationwide investigation just a few days ago over the suspected appearance of a nine-dash line on the face of a Chinese fluffy doll, Baby Three.

The first store opened in Vietnam is located in one of the most expensive neighborhoods, only about 100 meters from Nguyen Hui pedestrian Street, the first pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam observers reported. It is a popular sign-in place for tourists, young people and shoppers.
