Yesterday afternoon, a netizen whose IP address was shown as Zhejiang posted a video saying that he bought a cup of Lucky in the morning and drank most of it and found several small white insects floating in the coffee, which were still wriggling. Subsequently, the video quickly triggered heated discussions and retweets from various netizens. (Currently, this post has been hidden by the publisher)
The video shows that nearly 80% of the entire cup of coffee has been drunk. The squirms suspected of insects are not only slowly crawling on the lid, but also the same tiny white objects are floating in the dark coffee liquid.
According to the netizen's feedback, a friend bought the coffee for her. The place ordering was at Ruixing, a newly opened store in Jiaxing. The production time was about 11:20 a.m. that day, and started drinking at around 12:00 a.m. until it was poked into the straw, the coffee remained sealed.
Regarding the discovery process, he said that because he drank it in a relatively dark place indoors at first, he didn't pay much attention to it. In the afternoon, when he walked outside with sufficient light, he saw a scene in the video, so he quickly took a video to retain a certificate, and called the relevant complaint hotline.
In this regard, many netizens speculated that if they ordered red bayberry rina ice, then the "little bugs" in the drink were likely to come from the red bayberry pulp in the raw material. However, the blogger said that he ordered a cup of coconut green ice cream American, so the above situation can be ruled out.

Many netizens said that the white squirming foreign matter looked like eggs laid by flies. The reason why it was not found in coffee at first, but only "appeared" after a while is likely that it was hidden in the cup before it was produced. Between the gaps in the lid, it later fell into the coffee and hatched white, small larvae within a few hours.
However, some netizens also noticed a detail. Since the coffee order is an ice drink, it should have water droplets of melted ice. However, the drink in the video is obviously at room temperature, so there is a high chance that the foreign matter is caused by the coffee being left for too long, allowing flies to take advantage of it to run in and lay eggs.

In response, the video publisher explained that all white foreign objects were found inside the cup, and it was not ruled out that they were eggs laid by flies. After all, such situations were hard to prevent. Regarding whether the coffee was contaminated by the outside world because it was left for too long, she said that she had the habit of wiping the cup, and even after inserting the straw, she would leave a sealing sticker to cover the gap. The discovery time was only before the meal was picked up. It took a few hours, so the flies couldn't fly into the coffee at all.
Until the press release, the video publisher had contacted Luckin customer service and gave feedback on the relevant situation, but still had not received a reply.
The source of the larvae is full of doubts. Whether they were present in the cup at the time of purchase or fell into the cup after purchase requires further explanation from the party concerned or Lucky.
