Vietnam invests heavily in coffee and cashew acquisitions
According to Vietnam's People's Daily, Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development recently suggested that the State Bank arrange 45 trillion Vietnamese dong credit funds to support coffee and cashew purchases. Among them, 16 trillion dong of working capital was provided to enterprises to purchase coffee. It provided 29 trillion VND loans to cashew nut enterprises, of which 13 trillion VND was used to purchase domestic cashew nut raw materials, 13 trillion VND was used to purchase foreign cashew nut raw materials, and 3 trillion VND was a long-term loan for enterprises to purchase machinery and equipment.
