Last Updated: 2024/09/17, According to Sohu Science News, a foreign company has recently launched a new toothbrush product with built-in coffee spice blocks that can serve coffee to people's mouths when they brush their teeth in the morning.

The patented product can also offer other flavors of spices and even deliver drugs on toothbrushes. The technique involves embedding chemicals in the toothbrush head and slowly releasing spices or drugs during the brushing process. Currently, the company is showing off the latest technology, which allows people to experience the refreshing taste of mint, apple and coffee when brushing their teeth in the morning, and each piece of spice lasts for three months. In addition, the toothbrush can also deliver drugs such as aspirin, and even embedded spice blocks can release an appetite suppressant, the company explained.

In this patent application, the toothbrush is affixed with tongue cleaners with different shapes, the apple shape means the apple flavor, and the snowflake shape means the cool taste of mint release. The company described the patented product as follows: an oral care device that includes a handle and a toothbrush head that releases sensory substances to produce a special smell in the mouth. The toothbrush also has a chili flavor. Capsaicin is found in chili peppers as a chemical that can be used to produce a hot irritation or as a heated massage to give people a sense of comfort.
