Over the past few days, the reporter, holding a mobile phone terminal, selected seven coffee chain brands, including Starbucks, Pacific (601099) Coffee, COSTA, Zoo coffee, Man Coffee, Coffee with you and Hanya Coffee, respectively in Pearl River Metro, Zhengjia Plaza, Tianhe and other CBD locations, and randomly tested the coffee price, Wi-Fi speed, pastry price and supporting facilities of their CBD stores. Coffee price: the price difference is up to 10 yuan.

According to the results of visits to the above seven brand coffee stores, the price of each brand's standard latte cup (or large cup, called "standard cup" here is uniformly called "standard cup") is concentrated at about 30 yuan, with a price difference of 38.5%. Among them, the highest price of illy latte of Hanya coffee is 36 yuan, which is 10 yuan less than that of Zoo coffee, the cheapest coffee. Wi-Fi Speed: hard to be optimistic

From the reporter's test results, the Wi-Fi download speed of the above test sites is not optimistic, more than half of the test points Wi-Fi download speed is lower than 1Mbps, or even unable to connect. Zoo coffee's Wi-Fi, the reporter tried many times in the process of testing, but failed to connect. At that time, the occupancy rate in the store was not high. Starbucks, Man Coffee also only measured the results of 0.03Mbps and 0.37Mbps, but according to the reporter's observation, the above two stores were full at the time of the test.

Another equally poor performer was Pacific Coffee, where Wi-Fi downloads were only 0.97Mbps, when only 10 customers were in the store. The situation of Hanya Coffee, which is located on the first floor of Zhengjia Plaza, is much better, its Wi-Fi download speed is as high as 11.20 Mbps, and the coffee on the negative floor of Zhengjia Plaza also has a score of 9.70 Mbps.

Supporting facilities: there are no matching toilets in the store.

From the point of view of the supporting facilities of the bathroom, only Starbucks and Man Coffee have relevant configurations in the store. However, the matching of one common toilet for men and women and two for each of the three floors of coffee at Starbucks is far from enough compared to the number of consumers in the store.

On the other hand, Pacific, COSTA and other stores are located in the square, although the bathroom is not far away, but they have to compete with the huge flow of people in the square for a small amount of toilet resources. At the same time, how to take care of the goods when leaving the seat is also a problem that consumers need to consider.

Sigh the small details outside the coffee

In fact, in addition to the price of coffee and the speed of Wi-Fi, there are many small details worth paying attention to. For example, Starbucks, Pacific, COSTA and others all offer and encourage consumers to take coffee grounds out. Small coffee grounds, however, have many advantages, such as putting them in the refrigerator to remove the smell.

In addition, there is a charge for plain boiled water in Hanya Cafe, which has never been seen in other stores. Whether the organic coffee in the Pacific is really organic coffee is also open to question. People in the coffee industry have pointed out that organic coffee is no different from ordinary coffee in quality and taste, and it is more a publicity gimmick.
