Author: Wang Xinya, I met you in 1872. When you first build a cottage, I am a weed on the eaves. I saw you again in 1918. You are beautiful and elegant, you are in your prime, and I have become the corner of the foundation brick under your pillar. In 1932 you were in high spirits, talking about freedom and talking about the Spring and Autumn period. I listened to your chanting and pillowed down the waves you rose. You stopped abruptly in 1949, only with a thick back to describe the pride of more than a century. There is only one voice echoing between the sounds of nature in 2015. I'm back, I'm back. I am earlier than spring! I'm prettier than I was then! Oh, my God, is this the agreement of the past life and this life, searching through time and space! I'm here tonight, The Press. There's nowhere to run.

On the afternoon of April 30th, Fudan alumni gathered at No. 309 Hankou Road to celebrate the opening of the Declaration Cafe (The Press) and the listing of Fudan University's Chinese financiers Club, and held a series of alumni activities for the 110th anniversary of Fudan University-the first Declaration Cafe Forum: tell me about Hankou Road 309. The event is sponsored by Fudan University Alumni Association, hosted by The Press, and co-organized by Fudan University Chinese financiers Club and Fudan Alumni Entrepreneurship Club. After more than half a year of preparation and trial operation, the Fudan alumni crowdfunding cafe has finally opened. The choice to open on April 30 is closely related to the former site of the declaration office. On April 30, 1872, Shen Bao, which had the longest publication time and extensive social influence in modern China, was founded in Shanghai, and began its career of running a newspaper in the late Qing Dynasty, the Beiyang government and the national government.

Qin Shaode, former party committee secretary of Fudan University, Feng Xiaoyuan, vice president of Fudan University, Jia Shumei, former party committee secretary and editor-in-chief of Fudan Daily, Huang Huan, professor of journalism school of Fudan University, Xu Jinjiang alumnus, deputy editor-in-chief of Jiefang Daily and editor-in-chief of Shenjiang Service Guide, alumni shareholder, financier club, and president of Fudan alumni entrepreneurship club attended the opening ceremony. The descendants of the "newspaper Office" and the third and fourth generations of the famous journalist Shi Qicai: Ms. Shillian, chairman of the American "declaration" fund, and Mr. Daniel Shih, executive director, also made a special trip to congratulate them. Famous media alumni Cao Jingxing and Ms. Gu Wei presided over the opening ceremony. At 06:30 in the afternoon, guests and alumni arrived one after another, and the cocktail party was light and cheerful. Some people found the words "3108" on the tiles on the floor, and the excitement and pride of the people of Fudan were beyond expression. The sketch artist at the scene made sketches and portraits of the guests, which added fun to the reception. Shililian, a descendant of Shenbao, said excitedly as soon as she entered the door that the ceiling was exactly the same as the one she saw when she was a child. When she saw the preserved walls and wooden walls under the introduction of Secretary Qin, she was very excited and kept telling her son about the events of that year. Ms. Shi lamented that her father graduated from Fudan in 1958 and met so many excellent Fudan alumni in the Press today. She believes that she will continue to have this relationship with Fudan because of the Press in the future. At seven o'clock, the activity officially begins. All the shareholders of The Press cut the ribbon together in vests printed with the word The Press, and the shareholders spoke on behalf of Hua Biao, telling the origin of the cafe: "people gather firewood and the new wine is particularly fragrant", which is the best summary and blessing for the birth of The Press Cafe. After that, Vice President Feng Xiaoyuan, co-chairman of Fudan University Chinese financiers Club and Guotai Junan Chairman Yang Dehong listed the "Fudan University Chinese financiers Club". The shareholders of The Press Cafe are Fudan alumni, and a considerable number of them are also members of the financiers' club. In the future, The Press Cafe will become an important activity place and exchange platform for financiers' club, issuing the "Fudan Voice of Chinese Finance".

After the ribbon-cutting and listing ceremony, the first The Press Forum began, and five alumni, Qin Shaode, Jia Shumei, Xu Jinjiang, Huang Hu and Cao Jingxing, shared with you the historical story and cultural heritage of nearly a century. After the event, Xu Jinjiang shared his experience on moments: the newspaper office is a history and story for some people, but a real experience for me. Thirty years ago today, I began my career and love life sitting at the desk of 310 waxed floor room with green lampshade and copper lamp-a scene that can continue upward to Shen Bao and Shi Qicai, which was founded in 1872. Back can be extended to the Shenjiang Service Guide, where I have been working for 15 years, there is an irresistible and indelible fate. Teacher Qin Shaode said that Wangping Street is the birthplace of the modern newspaper industry. Cao Jingxing hopes that it can continue the power of news here. Thanks to Fudan's 60 shareholder alumni for inheriting the spirit of the newspaper industry in a folk way. Hankou Road used to be Wangping Street, a famous newspaper street in modern Shanghai, and the newspaper office is the only old newspaper office preserved on Hankou Road. The declaration hall, built in 1918, has undergone several changes in the past hundred years. Jiefang Daily used to work in this newspaper office, but now the Shanghai newspaper Group has been reorganized, and the former Liberation Daily newspaper Group, which is opposite to the newspaper office, has also been relocated, and the newspaper office has even become a tea restaurant at one time. In recent years, it has experienced prosperity and forgotten helplessness, and is about to witness a new look after being rebuilt by Fudan alumni. The future The Press will use the mechanism of cafes to establish a platform for cultural exchange, focusing on media, culture and finance, supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, and creating a new highland for cultural gatherings. As the famous saying on the window of The Press Cafe said: Our printing press is the internet. Our coffee houses are social Networks.--Heather Brooke maybe The Press will become a new media and a new platform in the new era and new background.

About the declaration cafe The PressThe Press is a cafe crowdfunded by Fudan alumni. Wang Xinya, co-president of Chinese financiers Club of Fudan University and founding partner of Beautiful realm Investment Management Co., Ltd., is the leader. On the basis of successfully establishing Inno Coffee in Zhangjiang, Wang Xinya, Cai Tong and his wife, Hua Biao, Wu Xuekun, Chen Jingfeng and other active student cadres of Fudan gathered a group of alumni in the 1980s to follow the spirit of Fudan's "everyone's salon" and "management as the body and culture as the soul". They found the only existing old newspaper office on Hankou Road, the birthplace of China's modern newspaper industry. Began the Fudan people's idea of The Press. As soon as The Press came out, it caused a sensation in the Fudan alumni circle. During the period of more than half a year of preparation and trial operation, people from all walks of life in Fudan, including alumni from the press, came to "watch", "taste", "comment" and "spread" one after another. Everyone strives to be a volunteer, scraping up the best part of the Fudan party from time to time. Zhang Lifen, one of the shareholders and founder of FT Chinese website, donated the precious original newspapers he had collected for many years. Hua Biao shareholders contributed antique countertops, and Shi Liqin shareholders found an atlas of China, which was declared and published in 1948. The book quality of the library area on the second floor reflects the Fudan level with the help of Yang Dong, Lin Lijun, Zuo Zhen and other alumni. Ma Xiaohong and Yang Wenhong, alumni of the press, and Chen Xudong, a representative of Fudan outstanding graduates in the 1980s, gave maximum help in planning, decoration, historical textual research and other matters. The Chinese and English media in Shanghai have been paying attention to the "The Press" that is still in preparation from the very beginning. Shanghai Watch reported on the opening day that Time Out rated the opening of The Press as one of the top ten cultural events in Shanghai this year.
