Drinking coffee in moderation is good for the heart
At the satellite meeting held by Nestl é Research Center, domestic and foreign experts discussed the promotion of cardiovascular health through nutrition programs. Dr. Zhou Jie from the Nestle Research Center in Switzerland discovered the importance of intestinal flora to metabolic health and proposed to promote metabolic health through nutrition. Liu Health, a professor at the School of Life Sciences of Xi'an Jiaotong University, discussed the potential benefits of coffee to the cardiovascular system. The results of a study by Professor Sean Stern of the University of Ulster in the UK showed that vitamin B2 supplementation had a significant antihypertensive effect on people with TT genotypes (whose risk of cardiovascular disease was 14% higher than that of other populations).
