Brisbane G20 Summit promotes "Global Cafe" Plan
Brisbane Global Cafe will explore some important issues, including improving human living standards, developing cities suitable for future needs, promoting future economic development and labor demand, and developing new frontiers of tourism.
The plan will consist of three parts, starting with a two-day event featuring speeches, seminars and media meetings this week at the G20 leaders' summit, followed by a series of events between July and November. finally, there is an online information and discussion forum.
Brisbane Mayor Graham Cook said the Brisbane Global Caf é project was a bold idea and he hoped that the cities hosting future G20 leaders' summits would continue this idea.
The website of Brisbane Global Cafe has been successfully launched and speakers of all events will be announced gradually over the next few months.
Cook said: "the official summit of G20 leaders in Brisbane will focus on achieving strong economic and employment growth and dealing with future economic shocks, while the Brisbane Global Caf é will focus on improving human living standards." in order to fill the gaps in the G20 leaders' summit on these issues, such as the improvement of technology and design. "
It is reported that nearly 4000 delegates and 3000 media representatives will attend the 2014 Brisbane G20 leaders Summit on November 15 and 16.
