Maintenance of coffee machines usually includes maintenance of start-up switches, thermostats, heating elements and insulation elements.
Repair start switch: the coffee machine switch is a simple device that controls the heating device and the coffee pump switch. Fortunately, this critical controller is easy to detect and replace. The specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: make sure you unplug the coffee maker.
Step 2: remove the base or housing to service the back of the switch.
Step 3: connect the detection probe to the two terminals and turn on the switch. At this time, the circuit should be closed and the switch position should show the path.
This on-off detection is also applicable to other controllers, such as timers. The principle of all controllers is the same as that of switches, that is, conducting current in some settings and interrupting current in others.
Repair the thermostat of the drip coffee machine: in the drip coffee machine, the thermostat controls the current passing through the heating element. If the thermostat does not work properly, it will cause a lot of problems. Here is how to detect the thermostat in a drip coffee machine:
Step 1: unplug the coffee maker, empty the remaining water in the reservoir, turn the coffee maker upside down, and then remove the base (you may need to use a screwdriver with a special head, which is usually available in a larger hardware store).
Step 2: connect the probe of the on-off detector or multimeter to both ends of the thermostat, and then test the thermostat.
Step 3: if it is a thermostat failure, remove the thermostat and replace the model with the same rated power.
Step 4: also check the connectivity of the fuse. If the circuit is open, you need to replace the fuse.
Repair heating element: in the coffee machine, the heating element is a key component. Nobody wants to drink cold coffee. Whether it is a drip coffee machine or a percolation coffee machine, if you want to overhaul the heating element, you need to remove the base of the appliance. The methods for detecting and replacing heating elements are described below:
Step 1: be sure to empty all liquids and coffee grounds in the appliance, and then turn them upside down to remove the base.
Step 2: after exposing the heating element, it can be tested with an on-off detector or multimeter as any conductor is tested. Disconnect the device from the circuit, and then connect the probe to both ends of the element to verify whether the element can conduct electricity.
Step 3: if it cannot conduct electricity, replace the heating element or the entire assembly. Mark the position of all loose wires and assemblies with masking tape so that they can be reconnected.
Repair the thermal insulation element: after brewing the coffee, the thermal insulation element at the bottom of the coffee machine will keep it warm. In some coffee machines, the thermal insulation element is turned on all day, so this component is easy to be the first to fail. In addition, water or brewed coffee may spill or leak onto the insulation element, resulting in a short circuit. The methods of testing and replacing thermal insulation elements are described below:
Step 1: remove the base of the coffee machine, find the insulation element, and disconnect it from the terminal.
Step 2: check the connectivity of the components using an on-off detector or a multimeter.
Step 3: replace the insulation element as needed.

Now we are going to enter another field of coffee brewing, which is to use the pressure of steam to let the water brew strong coffee through the coffee powder. First, let's take a look at the simplest and most primitive steam compressed coffee brewer, the ─ mocha pot (Moka). Put the water in the container at the bottom, then put the finely ground coffee powder in the filter of the belt, compact and cover the upper layer.

Basic knowledge of full-automatic coffee machine maintenance of boutique coffee machine
Many friends who love coffee have a fully automatic coffee machine in the office or at home, but few people take serious care of it, thus greatly reducing the life of the coffee machine. The maintenance of the automatic coffee machine is simpler than that of the semi-automatic coffee machine, which is mainly the regular cleaning of scale and coffee oil scale. After using the automatic coffee machine for a period of time, it is on the machine.
