After the restoration of the White Horse Cafe, the commemorative sculpture of "Wind and Rain in the same Boat" donated by Sarah Emes, a descendant of Jewish refugees, stands in front of the restored White Horse Cafe. The sculpture shows a Chinese "mother" holding an umbrella for a little girl holding a teddy bear to protect her from the wind and rain. It shows the gratitude of the Jewish people and the great love and tolerance of the people of Shanghai.

Ron Klinger, grandson of the founder of the White Horse Cafe, visited the re-exhibition of the Shanghai Jewish Refugee Memorial Hall. The contents of the new exhibition are all fine works collected by Hongkou since the collection of historical materials was launched in 2007. There are 170 physical exhibits (including 150 originals and 20 copies) and 90 wonderful stories provided by Jewish refugees and their descendants.

Ron Klinger, the grandson of the founder of the White Horse Cafe, returned to the restored White Horse Cafe for coffee. "it's like going home," he said.

In 1939, a Jew named Rudolph Mossberg and his relatives and friends opened a coffee shop at the intersection of Lintong Changyang Road and named it "White Horse Cafe", making it one of the daily gathering places for Jewish refugees at that time. In early 2015, the government of Hongkou District rebuilt the Baima Cafe one-to-one, completely restoring the lobby of the cafe more than 70 years ago. The picture shows citizens visiting the second floor of the restored White Horse Cafe.
