Fireboat Coffee is the largest coffee company in Indonesia, with Good Day, Excelso and other brands under its jurisdiction. The founder of the company, Wu Xulu, an overseas Chinese in Fujian, arrived at Surabaya Port by boat under Nanyang in 1920 and began to bake his own coffee beans in 1927. This is the embryonic form of Fireboat Coffee, which is now run by the third generation of heirs. In addition to Surabaya, the company also has its own plant in Jakarta.

With the gradual penetration of coffee culture into the daily life of the Chinese people, the great potential of the Chinese market has also attracted the attention of Indonesian coffee enterprises. When members of the delegation visited the exhibition hall and production workshop of the Fireboat coffee factory, the person in charge of the company said that previously, the company's products were generally exported to Europe, the United States, Malaysia and other countries, but because of the huge business opportunities aimed at the Chinese market, the company plans to enter the Chinese market this year, and its products will be represented by local Chinese enterprises. The listing time may be two months later, and the first city to land will be Shanghai.

Asked why he chose Shanghai, the head of the company told members of the delegation that compared with other Chinese cities, Shanghai's coffee culture is relatively mature. Previously, it chose to export to Europe and the United States and other countries because its market is more mature. Data show that per capita daily coffee consumption in Europe and the United States is four times, compared with 1/4 cups in China.

The "Chinese Internet celebrities Sea Silk Road-Indonesia Station" is jointly organized by the World wide Web and the Indonesian Embassy in China.
