A dark-skinned man got off a white car next to him and then walked along the sidewalk. When he approached the table of the two Chinese, he suddenly pulled out a pistol and fired two shots at one of the Chinese men in the chest and two shots at the other man in the abdomen.

Another eyewitness said the man opened fire and ran into the car, starting it and fleeing. At that time, other guests were not injured, ambulances arrived at the scene, one of the men had died, the other man was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
