However, research shows that just because a person loves coffee doesn't mean he won't go bald in old age, unless he smears caffeine directly on the end of his hair.

Adolf Kliank, an expert at the Kurt Wolf Cosmetics Institute, said: "you have to drink 60 to 80 cups of coffee a day to get enough caffeine to the roots of your hair." He also suggested that those who are worried about losing their hair in the future should caffeine their scalp while they are young.
