Indonesia's exports of Chinese coffee beans may increase by 20% a year.

The Indonesian Coffee Industry and exporters Association believes that China is a potential market for Indonesian coffee bean exports, and Indonesia's coffee beans exported to China are expected to grow by an average of 20% a year.

Irfan, president of the Indonesian Coffee Industry and exporters Association, told the media in Jakarta that China will become a strategic market for Indonesian coffee beans in the next 10 years.

He said that the Chinese market has great potential, with a large population and high per capita income, which provides an opportunity for Indonesia to export high-quality coffee beans.

In 2012, Indonesian coffee production reached 750000 tons, of which 530000 tons were to meet the needs of the export market. Irfan said that Indonesia exports high-quality coffee to foreign countries.
